Letter to the ORGANIZATIONS and COMMITTEES

Greetings of Peace!
Our parish has a beautiful House of God that has served us so humbly and faithfully for 39 years. It is not only a worthy place of worship but also one of national cultural pride.. The Salakot-inspired structure was built by a renowned National Artist, Architect Leandro Locsin. The Way of the Cross was sculpted by esteemed National Artist, Napoleon Abueva. Fr. Segundo Gutierrez, CMF, an International Spanish sculptor, sculpted the 16-foot Blessed Virgin Mary, 30-foot Cross and 7-foot Risen Christ.
Our church roof has been maintained and repaired several times but as it approaches its 40th year, it is time to totally replace it. The project of replacing the entire roof, interior ceiling, provision for roof louver ventilators, water proofing of concrete gutter and electrical works was awarded to AAN Construction and it costs P4.4 Million.
We wish to thank those parishioners who have already donated to the ongoing call to raise the amount. However, we reiterate inviting your ministry, organization, movement or community to continue to support this once-in- a-lifetime endeavor. We suggest a monthly pledge that is affordable to your members from August up to November, 2008.
